visit visa , name difference(mother)

Hi

I am planning to apply visit visa for my parents , they have an appointment at chennai consul next month.

My mother's name in my passport is not exactly the same as her passport.

When they applied passport for her they put my father;s name as her last name (same as my lastname)

Is this going to be a problem and how should I approach this

I have the same problem. My mother's first name as one more "a" in my passport. Not sure, whether it is a problem or not - and if yes, how to go about it.

You don't really need.

Just go to civil court, ask any clerks/lawyers roaming around in the compound and tell them what you need. They know what to write.
