HI,
My wife is on L1 and she is travelling to US for few months. I have L2 but currently NOT planning to travel with her.
We are now in the process of applying L2 visa for our 1yr old daughter so that she can accompany her.
Can we apply visa for my wife's mother on L2 visa who a dependent on my wife. She is planning to travel so that she can accompany her to look after our daughter.
What are the chances of my mother-in-law being granted L2 visa.

L2 is not possible for L1's mother.

You will need to apply for B1/B2 for your mother-in-law. You cannot apply L2 for her since she isn't a dependent.
