Advance Parole Fee

My current status is I-485 pending, I have an EAD and Advance Parole. My AP will expire in June 2010. I'm planning on going to India in July 2010.

I'm clear on that I should be getting a new AP before I leave the country.
Since, my I-485 receipt date is Aug 3, 2007, should I be paying the application fee of $305 ??

According to the instructions, if you applied for I-485 on or after July 30th, 2007, then no additional fee is required.

If I can apply without a fee, is there a limit on how many times I can apply without a fee ??

Appreciate if anyone an help with this.

You need to pay the fee now and every single time later as well if you applied on August 3rd based on the July bulletin of 2007.
