    Default 3 months requirement??.

    Hi guys,

1 What can you show in the interview that have been living the 3 months before applying in the district??.

    does they ask about it?

2 In addition, do you need to bring with you your birth certificate and marriage certificate to the interview?.

    Thanks.

Utility bills, bank statement, State ID or State Driving License with the new address should be adequate evidence of residence in one State for more than 3 months. I can't advise you if they will ask for it because I haven't gone to the interview yet. They can always ask for your birth and marriage certificate even if your application for naturalization is not based on your marriage to a US citizen. Based on all the information I read in the forums anything can happen so you better be prepared with all types of documents. They have the right to ask you for anything.

    Thanks for your answer.

I think you are right. It is better to bring with you every document you can think about it just in case.

    Good luck in your interview.
