My sis-in-law and niece applied for a visitor visa in chennai and was rejected. All the papers were correct and the reason for rejection was "financial ties". I want to petition the rejection since I am a US citizen and had all the supporting documents. Can anyone please tell me if you can petition or what are the other means I can talk to someone to see why they have been rejected. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There is no concept of petitioning the rejection.
There is no place in the government to ask further qeustions on that.Immihelp Support
