h4 to F1 converstion,Sponsorer being spouse's Father from India

Hi,

I am on H4. Planning to convert F1. My father in law is sponsoring my F1 from India. I am currently in US and my spouse is on H1. Have any one gone through this scenario. Please share your experiences or ideas and a website for finding out this information.
