Can kids born to Indian mother and canadian father get PIO card or OCI based only on their mother's Indian Nationality.

Kids holding canadian passport
Mother holds indian passport with canadian PR status
Father holds canadian passport and with previous nationality is SRI Lanka

Hello Mangai,

Your child can get PIO or OCI based on your origin. However, your husband can not get PIO nor OCI.
