  • I-797C Notice of Action

My company filled for my L1B I-94 extension.
My I-94 was set to expire on 12th July 2010.
I received my receipt number(I-797C) today.
    The I-797C form says
    Received Date: July 12th 2010
    Notice Date: July 13th 2010

since my I-94 has expired on 12th July 2010.

What exactly does the Notice Date mean ?
Since this date is one day after my I-94 expiry date, I wanted to understand that my extension got filled within correct dates.

    Thanks you
    Rishi

Don't worry about the notice date. Receipt Date is the date on which USCIS received your application for extension. Notice Date is the day on which the receipt notice is issued. The receipt date is the relevant date for proving that a case was timely filed.
