PCC from RCMP Canada for Indian Citizen

Hi Everyone,

I am from India and at present I am on study permit in Canada. I stayed here for 1 year and I am leaving Canada in few days.

My spouse will file for K3 petition in January 2011 (after our marriage in December 2010) and my visa interview for US (K3 Visa) will be in March or April 2011.

IF I go for name based police clearance certificate from RCMP Canada (I can ONLY get name based certificate when I am present in Canada), will the USCIS and US Embassy in India accept it if its more than 6 months old?

Experts on this forum please give me some advice.

Yes you can get pcc in less than a month. There is a company in Rohini, Delhi which provides fast service for pcc RCMP and FBI pcc. I have misplaced their number. You can search online.

You need to contact Ottawa company and order one from RCMP Ottawa headquarter, than you need to legalize this document via DFAIT Canada embassy of India. I did mine via Canada Legalization Services
