Need suggestions on reapplying F1 visa

Hi
I attended my F1 visa interview on July29th in chennai, India and got rejected. the reason was , the university i applied was blacklisted and i came to know this only after my interview.
Now i have I20 from NYIT, can i reapply for visa interview with this I20?
Will the VO ask me the reasons for changing the i20?If yes, what is the reason i should say?

infact i received the i20 well in advance before my first visa interview

They know why they denied the visa. A good question to prepare is 'how do you know NYIT is good?'. They want to know if you are going to the US to really study and if you are really interested in pursuing good education.

So ,can I say that NYIT was my personal fav but i received my i20 only recently. and also the subject offered by them are of my personal interest and would like to deepen my knowledge on those subjects.
