Passport?!

We are about to send all the green card forms with adjustment of status out. Do i fill them out with my husbands last name as my new one or my old maiden name? I couldnt officially change my last name yet since i dont have a ssn nor can i change my name on my dl until i present them with a new passport with my new last name and the receipt for one of the forms we need to send out for the green card. so should I first request a new passport? and should i fill out the forms with my old last name or the new one?

You should use your maiden name. Your legal name. I am in the same situation since I couldnt officially change my name to my husband's because I don't have the ssn.

So then my greencard will have my maiden name on it, should i immediately replace it again? i mean it doesnt really make any sense

What I was told is that I just need to wait after the conditional greencard is up I can change it on the permanent green card by proof of the name change when I get the ssn and change my name to my husband's name. I was saying the same thing but we just have to follow the procedure I guess.

However, you can get still research for yourself. I even called USCIS and they told me I have to use my legal name.

Thats cool then. I will just use my legal name
