Old Indian Passport Destroyed by Termites In India

Dear Sir/Madam

I became a naturalized citizen of USA on dec 3rd 1993. My old Indian passport were with my Parents. My father passed away. I currently take care of my mother. She recently told me that she took my old Indian passport and stored it in closet in Portonovo, India in 1995.Upon her recent Indian visit in 2007 she discovred that she lost entire content of her closed including my old Indian passport to termites, completely destroyed. How can i obtain OCI or PIO card to india b/c Indian authorities are requesting info about my old indian passport. Please advice,

If your identification is left intact in that passport, you can submit that.

If it is totally destroyed, consider it lost and file a police report.
