    Question F-1 to H-1B to F-1 - need restamping?

I entered the US as a student in Aug 2001 and had got my F-1 visa stamped as valid till 2006. After completing a Masters in 2003, I worked for a year, initially on OPT and the remaining part on a H1-B visa. I have changed my status back to F-1 and presently pursuing a PhD since Spring 2005. I plan to go to India in Summer. So, do I need to get a fresh F-1 visa stamp to be able to come back though I have a stamped F-1 visa valid till 2006 as described above?

Any help will be greatly appreicated. Thanks a million!

no i dont think you are required to get another F1 visa as it expires in 2006. although, be sure to carry your current I-20 form issued by the university where you are pursuing phd - thats the important document. and o yes, make sure u enter US before the date of expiry (2006) good luck
