H1 visa Re-stamping

Hi,
I have a valid H1 visa till Sept 2011. But my stamping on Passport expired on Aug 2010. I am planning a trip to India this December.

I would like to know list of documents required for H1 re-stamping.. are they similar to H1 visa or are there any specific document for H1 Re-stamping?

There is nothing like re-stamping. Every Visa application is a new application. Prepare all documents as before.

Hi OP,

As already mentioned - for documents -is same as new H1 Visa stamping. So you need to carry/take all the documents as per the H1 Visa list/requirements + US documents (like W2, US Paystubs etc..please see the immihelp for complete list)

Only thing for H1 renewal is - that you can go to any CONSULATE for your stamping and not necessary the Consulate which falls under your region.
Secondly - while scheduling the appointment - Visa renewal appointment dates whch are OPEN sometime differs from new H1 Open appointment dates
