Help on L-1B Blanket visa interview

Dear Forum,

I have my visa interview scheduled on Oct 19th for L-1B Blanket in Chennai, India. I am working at Cognizant Techologies and visa has been initiated for me in this company. I have been hearing from my colleagues that almost 95 % of L-1B visas are getting rejected in india these days. This makes me feel negative on the eve of visa interview.

What are the type of questions generally asked in the L-1B blanket visa interview? I am looking for good tips to counteract the interviewers and impress them.

I'm sure that 95% thing is totally wrong...well there are lot of factors involved in any visa..since your case is L1 blanket, your company must have prepared all documents correctly(if so, your visa interview should be simple)..you just have to carry all standard docs..
typical questions they ask
1. total exp
2. total exp with this company
3. why YOU are going to US instead of someone else from your project
3. US work location
4. US salary(should match with your petition)
5. Your position and responsibilities
6. client information
7. who you report to and who manages your work
8. how many ppl in your project working onsite/offshore etc..

see these are all basic questions you can expect...

but again depends on VO..if he/she is not in good mood(or read any new article on outsourcing etc etc..) then we can't tell what he/she is going to ask..
