Hi,
I am in a weird situation. I am a resident of Canada and a citizen of India. I have been working on H1 visa for the last 4 years in US and have never gone out of the country. Now, I want to go to India and because my original J1 visa was issued from Canada, I booked an appointment for stamping in Canada. Now, our immigration attorney tells me that it is equivalent for me to get stamping done in India or canada and in this scenario I just want to travel to India
So my questions are
1. do you all think it is easer for me to go to India or canada to get the stamping done
2. Do i need to cancel my appointment in Canada before I can get one in India or is there a way to transfer my visa fees (that I have already paid for canada) to India?
Thanks a lot for your help,
