221(g) at New Delhi consulate

Hi,

I had my interview for H1 B on 25th October at the Delhi consulate and received a 221(g) green slip asking for my LCA and contract between my employer and client.They kept my I-797 and passport.

I submitted my documents on 27th October and still havent heard anything from them.
I have my return ticket for 7th Nov and if i exceed my leaves,i might end up loosing the project.
I mailed the Embassy telling them the same and they replied that my case is still under processing and they will let me know if they need anything else.

Any idea,how long is the processing taking these days.

No one can predict. Each case is different and the time taken for 221g to resolve will be different from one application to another. Search and read about posts related to 221g in immihelp.
