Question H4 to F1 COS. Proof of ability to pay

    Hi,
I am H1 and my wife is on H4. She got admission to a university and we are considering changing her status to F1.
    My question:
    1. What documents we need to submit or what documents COS to F1 applicants usually submit as proof of "ability to pay for your studies and support yourself".?

    2. I am thinking, her bank statements, my pay stubs, a letter from my employer, are these documents enough?

    Thank you for your time.
    Any reply greatly appreciated.

Yes, those are good enough. Make sure the bank account has $ for one year worth of fees - 2 semesters at the least.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.http://www.immihelp.com/visas/h1b/h1-visa-faq.html
