Student Wanting to Bring Wife

Hello,

We are a company that provides training here in the U.S. for people taking the Cisco CCIE exam. We have a lot of students from other countries and we write a letter of invitation for them to take to apply for their visa.

We're currently experiencing an issue we've not had before. On of our students wants to bring his wife and wants us to write a letter of invitation for her too. However, she is not utilizing any of our training and we are unsure how to proceed.

There are dependent visas for most of the student visa

F1 has F2
M1 has M2
J1 has J2

Depending upon the type of visa they are coming to the U.S., their dependents may qualify for depdent visa.

Ok - but do we have to provide an invite letter for the dependent coming over when they are not utilizing our training?
