    Wow. Extremely expensive.

Thanks a lot for your replies. We will have to check our option then.

When checking our possibilities with my husband's insurance company we were told to get an individual plan for me with maternity coverage - the best and cheapest way to go. It would cost us $686 which is still way too expensive option. I would assume having more people insured under one insurance plan would get better pricing as well, but obviously and unfortunately it doesn't work this way.
I was hoping someone would suggest some other plan for CT which is less expensive & more reasonable... I am not giving up...
    Thanks and regards.

The pricing is inline with many plans. However, you can only get a better pricing if you are able to get on a group plan. There are times when individuals can get under a group plan offered by the local union or things like that. Investigate such options.

Any particular local union in mind? Just to be more specific. Thanks.

You have to dig into those details. Nase.org or chamber of commerce etc.

Google for group health insurance for self employed and check out.

Thanks. I definitely will. Just wasn't sure what you meant as the system from the country I come from is totally different. Have a nice day
