Me and my husband are planning to travel to India from SFO via Munich. My husband is working on H1B while I'm on H4. Our visa stamping has expired but we both have valid H1b and H4 extension (I797) valid till Dec'2012. We are planning to get a new visa stamped once we are in India.
Do we need to apply for transit visa for Germany while traveling from SFO to India via Munich? We have a transit time of about 2-3 hrs.
An early reply is appreciated as we are traveling this weekend.
