    Hi Narendra,
I am looking to buy insurance for my parents who will be here for 3 months. My father is 74, diabetic and had gone through bypass surgery. My mother is 66. Both of them are in good health and do not seem to need any medical attention. What kind of plan would you recommend I should buy to have a peace of mind when they are here? I went to the insubuy site but the comprehensive plan that I liked was over $1000 for them. A few years back when they came, I remmeber buying the plan for about $200 per month (for both of them). Am I missing something here? I can use your advise. Thanks for the help.

What you are missing is that they have grown older than before. Therefore, the prices are higher.

The rates have not gone up that much, if at all. (Unless you are looking at the WorldMed plan, the prices have gone up substantially).

You should always consider purchasing comprehensive plans. You may consider choosing a higher deductible in order to reduce the price.

If you give us a call, we can go over various things with you and help you select the most suitable plan for you. (Of course, the prices that you see on the web site are the most accuarate and up to date prices, and are the same when you call us as well).
    Thanks & Regards

You can consider buying Altas America Insurance.

Anything related to his bypass surgery will be considered as pre-exisiting condition. If he needs to make a Dr visit regarding it, it will not be covered.

However, Atlas America covers an acute onset of pre-existing conditions up to $15,000 for persons below 70 years of age. You can read more about it in the brochure at http://www.insubuy.com/hccmis/atlas/...sinsurance.jsp
