221(g) yellow form during H1B Visa stamping

No docs asked.
Handed over 221g yellow.

June 12th: Received email with green form attachment asking for CV, employment letter etc.

After submitting documents, finally received visa on 17th July. Received passports in hand on 20th July.
Left for US on 23rd.

Finally back to normal work life.

It was good to have support from this forum. I wish you all the best and just keep patience and your cases will get resolved too.

Have received my visa after 221g yellow from Mumbai Consulate on 02/29/2012 (Interview Date).

I received the email from Mumbai NIV (on 07/24/2012) about completion of Admin Processing
and to submit the required docs at VFS.
(1. Yellow pending letter 2. Passport 3. Print out of the e-mail)

Documents were submitted to VFS Mumbai on 07/25/2012.

Immigration department of my employer received my passport on 07/30/2012.

It was a long painful wait of approx 4 Months and 3 weeks !! Happy that it ended with a positive note.

Congrats buddy...so happy for you....
Just curious...Did your case number not appear in the CSR and instead you recieved an email?
I thought they did away with emails and started displaying the list on the website. So, going forward...we need to check our emails too...

I just received an email .. bar codes did not appear in CSR.
