My sister is 14 yrs, i want her to come visit us. My husband will be sending sponsorship papers.
Is my sister in the crucial age bracket. I mean would her age become any reason for her not getting a visitor visa?
Anybody with any suggestions, please advise.

Dont worry - age is not necessarily a reason for rejection. Just make sure that you send appropriate documentation justifying the visit and also that she will return back to India. Her school affidavit, leave request etc will help too.
