Is it possible to do masters while working in H1B visa.

I am currently in Virginia working in H1B visa. I am interested to do masters while working. Is it possible to do so?.

What would be the visa status at that time, will it be H-1 or need to change it a F-1 (or a different category)?

That depends on whether you want to keep working. If you change to F1 you cannot work off-campus without separate authorization. If you remain in H1 you must work for the H1 sponsor.
