SEVIS transfer

Dear all -

I have a question on SEVIS transfer from one university to another university before the semester starts. I have applied to TAMU Kingsville and planning to apply for other good schools too.

If I get my visa with TAMU kingsville ..would it be possible for me to transfer my SEVIS to another university before even the classes start in TAMU - Kingsville?

Had anyone been in that situation? Please advise.

That is up to TAMU. Some universities require students to attend at least 1 semester before transferring.
