Hello
I am on L1 in USA and filed a petition for new H1(not yet approved) from USA only. What will happen if visit I visited India for few days and meantime my H1 got approved(I think my Status will change from L1 to H1)?
Do I need to get my H1 stamped to return USA OR I can come back on same L1 Visa and then move to new employer? Pls Suggest.

It is never advisable o travel when a COS is pending with USCIS. H1B might get approved without the change of status or you will end-up with multiple I-94. Search and read posts related to this topic in immihelp.
