H-1 consular processing , L-1B , COS will work or not??

Hi,

I got H-1B approved with consular processing when i applied from India last year. Now i came to US on L-1 VISA. Now if i wanted to move to H-1B.

Can i apply for COS from here itself or i need to go to india for stamping,,as mine is consular processing?? Please suggest.

Your employer can file an amendment here itself. But you cannot work before approval.
