Dear Immihelp,
Today I got my passport stamped with IR1 visa. I have only one question to clear.
There is sentence written above the barcode of my visa, kindly explain it
to me.
"UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANANT RESIDENCY FOR 1 YEAR"

Once you enter the US, they will stamp at the airport and that is your green card.
