Green Card - the elusive EB1 aka E13 category

I am employed with my company for 9 years and currently working with the same employer on L1A visa which would expire in Sept 2012 (this is my 7-year maxout date).

Unfortunately, inspite of having an L1A visa, my company will NOT file for my Green Card in the EB1 category due to a company clause that I need to be in a certain designation for one year outside US, EVEN THOUGH I have served in a managerial capacity for more than a year in India at a lower designation.

Is there anyway I can get this done from any outside agency through an attorney or any clause I might have missed that can be of any advantage to me in order to continue in the US beyond Sept 2012?

(Please note I cannot apply for H1 now as I am already into my 6th year and my GC is not initiated yet)
