H1B rejection without a valid Mexican VISA - Tijuana

Hi,

I have scheduled an appointment for H1B Visa renewal in Tijuana next week. my Visa is already expired.

I didn't get a Mexican Visa yet.Planning to get one in San Diego before entering into Tijuana - Mexico.

Is there any border crossing card or temporary visa at the border or easy online application for VISA ?

I have all necessary documents like client and Employer letters.Technically, Even if I have a valid visa and my h1 gets rejected or something happens I will not be able to come back to USA.

On what basis this Mexican visa help us to go to India(home country). Will there be an issue for going to India from Mexico without a valid Mexican VISA ?

What are the main things to be considered ?
