H1B After 5 yrs of L1B

Hi Friends,


I have completed 5 yrs of L1b here in US .
If i will get new H1B then can i stay for next 6 years or it will be only year as i have completed 5 yrs in US already ?
Please Help

L1 + H1B together is for 6 years. You need to spend 1 year outside U.S to be eligible for a fresh 6 year period in H1B.
