Need help regarding Visa

Hi all, I have a question with regards to my H1 Visa. My employer has filed a H1 visa for me. They say that by Nov/Dec this year I may have to appear for my Personal Appearance Interview at the Consulate, if my Petition has been approved. But my question is that I intend to pursue my higher studies in US by next year. Suppose if my H1 visa is rejected for some reasons will it affect me when i am applying for my F1 visa next year by May/June, 2012.

Rejection of one visa will not have any impact on the other as long as the reason for rejection is not you (Example: forged documents, prior criminal records etc).

Like above it will not affect, but there will be questions as to whether you want to work or study.
