L1 visa Pending under 221(g) Admin Processing

Hi friends,
I am in this boat for the past 69 days...
i dont know to whom should i contact.
visa type L1A
interview date was feb 28,
got blue letter
documents submitted April 5th
till now no updates.. contacted VFS...got a reply ....under process....
No idea how long i need to wait...

Hi,

My wife's company has applied for my L2 visa and my interview date is on 2nd July 2012. My wife went to US on 10th June 2012 on L1 visa for her long term assignment.

I am in lot of confusion about my approval of L2 visa as I have not gone through a single thread here of L2 visa for husbands. (as all are of wife applying for L2 visa)

Also, want help on the type of questions asked to L2 applicants and specifically when Husband is applying for L2. My wife has left first on L1 and she is now in US so is there would be any concern about why I have not applied along with my wife?

Do I need to carry my educational certificates, experience letter, present employer's appointment letter etc.?

Please reply on urgent basis.

Hello All,

My L1-A visa was kept on hold for Administrative Processing. I received my stamped passport today.

Type : L1-A
Consulate: Chennai
Interview Date: 14-June-12
Slip Issued : Pink
Passports Restained: Yes (Including Spouse and Child)
Received Passports with Stamped Visa (L1, L2): 2-July-12

Wishing the very best to all those who are awiaiting their visa due to ADP.

Finally i got a VISA after 6 months of waiting !!!

Folks,
I visited Chennai consulate on 1stAugust12. VO interviewed me for some 10 minutes & asked to stay back, gave me a pink slip.
He stamped my petition, gave me two copies & kept one with him. He told me that I will need to carry those copies while travelling.
Again - I was called & a lady asked my family members information. She took my passport & all related docs.

It's been 37 days & my case number is showing as Pending Processing at Chennai consulates PDF.

Please help & give some suggestion whether there are chances of rejection? or the time it may take for AP.
I'm really confused & have changed my name to 221gKaMara :-(

I attended the interview for my L1B renewal in Jan, 2012 along with my wife (at Hyd) There is no progress yet. The passports are with them and the status shows admin processing. Since the validity expires in Jan 2013, do you think this case will be lapsed by then and will I have to re-apply ? Can somebody please let me know?

Hi ABSAM,
Did you send 'em any email as mentioned on pink/other slip you received & queried upon? any response with that?
I didn't get you as what do you mean by 'validity expires in Jan 2013'...is it your application which will expire or current visa ?

I'm waiting for last 43 days [mine is new visa not renewal as is your case] but considering your case I'm AFRAID & loosing hope.

Immihelp - Please help ABSAM with this question...
