F-1 visa renewal after transfering SEVIS

Hi,

I am a new international PhD student and I have some questions regarding renewing my visa.

I have my undergrad education from the US under F-1 type visa. After gaining my access to Doctorate education, I transferred my SEVIS to my new school. And here are my questions:

- Do I need to show my undergrad diploma to the embassy ?
If so, because I have not received the diploma from my school. Can I ask for some kind of certificate saying that I have finished undergrad education in lieu of my diploma from my University ?

- Do I need to show financial support evidence even though I have fund from my PhD program ?
