Are Australian qualifications recognized in the U.S?

I'm a Medical Scientist from Australia. I am looking to immigrate to America to work and I was wondering if my qualifications are accepted in America. Are Australia qualifications the same as Americas?

If you have passed out from reputable institute and have a good experience then i don' t think so you have any trouble in USA.

For nursing experience and qualification maters. If you have good knowledge in your field then why others stops you to work. Don't bother for that you can easily work in US.
