Query regarding H1-B Visa

Hello,

I have couple of queries regarding the H1-B visa stamping process.

1. How many days prior to my visa interview date I must fill up the online form DS-160? Will the saved information on the DS-160 form be lost if I fill up the form too early?

2. Can the payment of visa fees (in the HDFC bank) and the online filling up of the DS-160 form be done in any order? Or, do I need to first pay the fees and then only I can fill up the form?

>>> The dates open only 3-4 weeks in advance. You cannot just fill the application and expect to have the interview the next date. Keep looking for the dates and start filling the application accordingly.

>>> Pay the fee and get the DDs from HDFC and then fill the application.
