F-2 visas being rejected..worried

Hello All,

I am hearing that many F2 visas are getting rejected from my friends.Is that really true or just a rumour.I am very much worried because I am on OPT extension that started on Jun 28 2011 and is valid till Nov28,2012.I recently got married and my wife is planning to schedule for F2 interview.I am working for the last 10 months and have all the pay stubs.Also got financial statements from a chartered accountant. I also have an employment letter from my employer.I am so much worried about her visa.Can any one advice me on any additional precautions to take care of when my wife goes for the interview?All suggestions will be greatly helpful.Thanks much.

Your wife should have convincing and true answers to questions like 'what are your plans after OPT, what will she do while in the US' etc.

i suggest you can apply for H1b and ask her to go for H4 stamping...its very easy for her to get H4..there wont be any complications for H4 like F2.

But if you can may give a try for F2.
make sure you have all docs and proofs.
