Bahamas Cruise - Will I get New I-94 on return?

I am planning to go on Cruise to Bahama. I have valid L1 visa. would they issue me new I-94 with different date ?

Planning to go in Sep 2011 ,I have visa stamped till Nov 2011 and i-94 till Dec 2012, if they give me new I - 94, they might put a stamp on it for Nov 2011 and then i would have to apply for extension and that is my concern

I am travelling to Bahamas on a 3 day cruise from port Canaveral. Will I get a new I94 when I return?

Please share your views. I would like to know if you already visited Bahamas and whether you got new I94 on your return? I'm in similar situation where, my H1B is valid til 2014 but my I94 expired because of passport expiration which is renewed now and I'm planning to go to Bahamas to make short trip or 2 days so that my I94 can be renewed. Please share. Thanks

I am in the exact same position and was going to take a cruise, did you ever get the answer to the I-94? I would appreciate ay feedback.Thanks
