Forgetting to Self Attesed the Photocopies of documents submitted for OCI

Hi

I and my wife have submitted the OCI application at the Indian High commision in London. We have mistaken and have only self attested the OCI application and we have not self attested the photocopies of the documents enclosed.
1) Indian passport Copy
2)Bristish Passport copy
3)Naturalization Certificate
4)Passport surrender certificate
5) Driving Licence for address proof.
6)Secondary school certificate for date of birth proof.

We live 120 miles away from the Indian high comission . Please let me know , will it be accetable to send the photocopies of the above documents self attested by post , or do i need to submit these documents in person.
The person in the counter dinn't even check these basic things during our application submission.

Please help how to go abouts.
