H1b Visa stamping at New Delhi

Hi,

I work as a consultant in EVC model, I have to get my first H1b stamping done. Is it safe to go to New delhi for h1b visa stamping this year? How long usually it takes to get the password back? Any help or suggestion about this is appreciated.

Let me tell you New Delhi is most unsafe !!

I went for my VI there, couldn't even think of a 221g..my case was clear as it could be...full time, direct employment...got stuck....

But i have read a lot of forums it seems all consulates are the same way...

Choose one..

All the consulates share the same information and are generally well informed. EVC makes it difficult for you irrespective of where you go. Having client letter, having an employer who pays for H1 filing costs and pays according to LCA and on bench helps.
