  • Notarized copy of Birth Certificate??

I am applying for a PIO card for my US born 3 month old daughter, and one of the requirements on Immihelp says that the Birth Certificate copies should be notarized, but the Notary Public that notarized copies of other documents said she was not autorized to notarize Birth Certificates. Should I just send copies without notarizing them or send the original? Your help is appreciated.

Thanks, I sent the "original" birth certificate with the application, thinking that I can get another copy from the Office of Vital Records by paying ~$12, if they dont return it back, but fortunately received it back with the passport and PIO.
