Hi,
My sister is in US on H4 (dependent) visa since Nov-2010.
Now, she got a job through a consultancy and filed for H4 to H1 transfer under premium process.
She got her H1 receipt and so started going to work with end client.
Being on H4, can someone work with H1 receipt?
Please advice.

No. She must wait until H1 gets approved with change of status.

Her employment is illegal and she is violating the H4 regulations. She should wait until the H1B gets approved.
