H1 blue slip from Mumbai with comments

I have been following this thread of 221g for long but never thought of registering on this thread, but today I thought I should update this thread with my details:

Interview Date: 20th Dec 2011, 221g blue given with documents to submit which I already had.

Document Submission date: 23rd Dec 2011.

Client Manager Contacted on: 10th January 2012.

I contacted DoS on: 21st Feb 2012, got a reply case is under Admin processing.

Client Manager Contacted again: 1st March 2012, saying this is a followup for earlier mail.

I contacted Dos again on: 22nd March 2012, got reply that case is still in pending state.

Contacting VFS is a waste, so contacted consulate on 29th March, was asked to contact VFS.

Has anybody heard about something similar to my case?

There are many people who had given interview in Dec 2011 and got Blue 221g slip. many case got cleared and some are still pending. I think you will get reply soon ... have patience.... GOOD LUCK

Can you track your passport ? is waybill number generated for your passport ?

Yippee! Received my passport few minutes back! On top of the world!!

---waiting---email vfs 3 thrice---called them twice---
28 MARCH: Receive email to submit Passport. CEAC code never appears online.
29 MARCH: Submit passport
30 MARCH: Receive package from Bluedart. Heart in the mouth. Contains Yellow 221g and submitted docs, asking for passport
3 APRIL: Finally passport in hands

Great news @orion06....Heartiest Congratulations...
Really do not understand why they sent pp with yelllow slip before...this shows they are really messed up but at the end passport with visa stamp matters most. Have a Great Trip back to US.

Last week I sent an e-mail to VFS HELPDESK MUMBAI to know the status of my application.
Haven't received any response form consulate yet...
Are you guys facing the same problem????

Can you please tell if waybill number was generated in your case ?? Were you able to track your passport online ?? Because in my case waybill number is not generated and i cannot track my passport. Bluedart is saying they dont have my passport

I sent an email today morning to VFS for my case status. Yesterday the email bounced back so i tried today and it worked. I have to wait another 2-3 days to hear any reply from them as their standard policy of replying emails. Well last time i enquired in Feb and they came back asking me to check case status online PDF file. But AFAIK the PDF file gets updated for yellow slip, I seldom find blue slip case barcode number in PDF.. Lets hope for the best and keep posting.

I had sent an email to MUMBAI VFS Helpdesk (infousmumbai@vfshelpline.com) last week on March 26th. They replied today few minutes back saying "As per the US Consulate your file is under review, please be informed that they cannot estimate a timeframe to conclude the case when pending admin processing."

I was interviewed on Dec 9th 2011 for fresh H1B stamping and submitted docs on Dec 13th.
