Reusing HDFC receipts between two consulates

Hi,

I have made an appointment at Hyderabad consulate for my H1 stamping after paying the required visa application fee and VFS and HDFC fee. But my attorney suggested me to move the appointment to Chennai consulate.

What is the process? Is it like cancelling the appointment made at Hyd consulate an get a new one at Chennai consulate?

I am sure we can use the DS-160 forms filled for Hyd consulate at Chennai consulate. But what about the visa application fee that I've already paid? Can I use the HDFC Receipts again at Chennai consulate or do I have to pay the visa application fee again for Chennai consulate?

I have to make this decision in another two days. Any help is appreciated.

You need to cancel the appointment @ Hyderabad and book a new one at Chennai. You can use the same HDFC receipt. Talk to VFS helpdesk if you have any questions.
