Do individual​s who are already on H1B need to apply for F1 for higher studies?

Hello,

I am from India and my organization sent me to US for project assignment on H1 B. I am in US since past 1 year. I would like to pursue Master's degree in Business Administration to enhance my skills.

I have following questions:
1. Do you I need to apply for F1 visa? or I can pursue MBA course on my H1 B visa?
2. If I need to apply for F1, can I apply it from US consulate? or I need to go back to India to apply for the same?
3. If in case, I can apply for F1 from US consulate, let me know the details/URL.

You can study in H1B status, but you must maintain H1 status all the time. That means you have to be working full-time.
