Hi all,
My baby was born in India and we have moved to US recently on H4 visa.
I need to change the name of my baby in his passport and as well as his birth certificate. They both are issued by the Indian government.
We do not have plans of going to India in the near future.
Can someone please let me know if I can get this done from the US itself?
If yes can you please share the procedure...

You will have to go through legal name procedure in U.S. state court.

You just contact a local lawyer who can help you with that.
