Default Canadian PR with US PR application pending

I was born in India and am currently working in US on H1B visa. I will move to Toronto, Canada next year. I had following questions regarding immigration:
    1. Can I apply for US Green card (permanent residence) now and move to Canada next year with my US application pending?
    2. Can I apply for Canadian PR next year eventhough my application in US might be pending at that time?
    3. Can I have citizenship from India, US and Canada at the same time. If not, where should I apply first, US or Canada?

1.Your US application for PR has no relation to your moving to canada.
You sponsor for PR can start that process even while you are outside US.
    2. Yes, you can.
    3. Citizenship is different from PR. You are talking about getting PRs first.
You can be a citizen of India and PRs of US and canada. But you have to live in the PR country
to maintain the PR status .
