    Default Renew of green card

    Hi all!
I have a GC which expires fairly soon, and i would like to know the process for this - knowing that it changed recently in May 2005.

I know to complete I-90, but some people told me it was OK to file the form in person, and others say I have to post it to the new LA office and wait for a date to get finger-printed.

Also what is the likelyhood of being approved? - as I have been living mostly in the UK (study and work related) and therefore have not been to school in the US, or worked for more than 1 year, and therefore do not have much 'commitment' to the US (but definately want to move once my studies are completed).

    Please help!

    Thanks is advance!

    Default

I would say that it should be Ok to submite it by mail.
That's what I did with mine.
    I am not an attorney

    Default green card replacement

could you tell me after we apply for green crd replacement and after the finger printing is done, what is the next step? Do we have to go for interview process or do we get the new green card by mail. Also after finger printing, how long does it take to get the green card?
    Thanks
