Hi,
My brother-in-law who is 27 years old and has juvenile diabetes will be visiting us from India in August. He will be accompanied by my father-in-law (69 years old) and mother-in-law (59 years old). I am aware that pre-existing conditions such as diabetes may not be covered. What about visits to the doctor for treatment for an illness that may not be directed related to the diabetes? Would these be covered? Or will there be a whole bunch of strings attached?
They are planning to visit us for about two months. Is it better for my brother-in-law to be a part of his parents insurance or would you recommend that we put in a separate application for him?
Thanks,
Amit
